KDE can currently be installed through Fink or MacPorts (formerly DarwinPorts), with varying degrees of success. Also, as of KDE 3.2 CVS, KDE should (mostly) build out-of-the-box on Mac OS X (using X11) now.

In Fink, you should be able to install KDE by running "fink install bundle-kde-ssl" (or "fink install bundle-kde" if export laws forbid you to use strong cryptography). This will install all of the core KDE packages that are available in Fink. Other KDE-related packages in the KDE section of the Fink package database [1].
