Keeping Active

Since historically maintainers have often vanished with no notice, the following formula should be applied:

1. A report of no contact with a maintainer (especially a bouncing email addreess) is noted on the mailing lists or on IRC.
2. A second attempt is to be made by a Fink developer, preferably on a different email address if known.
3. Once four weeks have elapsed after the initial notification of an unresponsive maintainer, their packages are fair game to be taken over, turned over to fink-devel, etc.
